Stuart Hay (1889-1969) was an American cartoonist, illustrator and architect. Born in Sewickly, Pennsylvania in 1889, Stuart Hay studied art at the Cleveland School of Art, the Art Students League of New York and the National Academy of Design. A practical man of ambition, Hay also formally studied architecture at the Beaux Arts Institute and at Columbia University.
